Billie Bryant

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Billie Jean Bryant, passed away at her home November 26, 2018 surrounded by her husband and many family members. Billie was born November 10, 1928 to Loriene and Otto Brixey in Tahlequah, OK. Billie graduated from high school in Chelan, WA at age 16. She was a cheerleader and loved dancing at the after school sock hops.

Billie moved to Seattle to work as a secretary. She then met the love of her life, Bob Bryant, at a dance. They married on September 3, 1948 in Seattle, and then moved to Richland for Bob’s work at Hanford. Billie and Bob raised five children and enjoyed many family activities at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Billie was devoted to her family. She cherished family visits and especially appreciated when everyone was together for the holidays. Billie enjoyed knitting, ceramics and sewing but her true love was being a homemaker and caring for her family.

Billie is survived by Bob, her loving husband of 70 years; and her five children, Dave (Libby) of Vancouver, WA., Debby (Dave) of Richland, WA., Cheri (Dave) of Stevenson, WA., Pat of Olympia, WA., Mike of Richland, WA., and nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family invites you in Celebrating Billie Jean’s life at Einan’s At Sunset, on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 2:00pm. Following the celebration there will be a Graveside Inurnment at Sunset Gardens.
