Ernestine Wise, age 96, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019, in Kennewick, Washington. She was born August 11, 1922 in Wishek, North Dakota, the daughter of Henry and Eva (Hochhalter) Wiest. Ernestine enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.  She was a member of the West Highlands Methodist Church in Kennewick, Washington.

Ernestine is survived by six of her children, Carol Alphin (Jim), Mike Beck, Shirley Vander Pol (Nelis), Mary Porter (Leonard), Thomas Beck (Denise), and John Beck (Deidra); eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Ida Farra, two brothers, Calvin Wiest and Emanuel Wiest, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Wise, parents Henry and Eva Wiest, one son Steven Beck, four sisters; Hilda Merkel, Milbina Ashcraft, Mary Anderson and Christine Reihs, five brothers; Alfred Wiest, August Wiest, Gerherd Wiest, Oscar Wiest and Edgar Wiest, one grandchild Nathaniel Beck, and one great grandchild Trenten Morris.
