My precious angel, and beloved Husband, Joe Ayoub was gently and peacefully taken from my arms by our Lord God on Monday August 12^th, 2019.

Joe was a courageous warrior throughout his constant challenges with Muscular Dystrophy always so positive and worked so hard to rise above the disease. He worked tirelessly to be okay for his family, me and therapist.

Joe always had a smile for everyone. Always greeted everyone with a “How are you, How is your family.” Joe brought joy and happiness to everyone he touched.

Joe was born in Buffalo, New York, on December 14^th, 1955 to David Ayoub and Martha Alaraj Ayoub. His family moved to San Francisco, California at six months old and made the Sunset District his home. Joe was surrounded by extended family; aunts, uncles, cousins, and church family. Joe loved his family.

Joe attended Catholic school from ages 5 to 18, starting at Star of the Sea, kindergarten, St. Ann’s Middle School, and finally Riorden all boy Catholic High School.  He attended San Francisco Community College and studied Architecture.

Joe served his country from 1975 to 1979, performing a tour of duty at Malmstrom Airforce Base, in Great Falls, Montana. There he met the Love of His Life, Tami (me!) 🖤

We were married in San Francisco, California, on July 11^th, 1981, and made our home in The Sunset District of San Francisco, California for 34 years.

Joe worked at the Alameda Naval Airbase Rework facility for 15 years as a Jet Engine Mechanic. After 15 years and the shutdown of Alameda, he went to work at Cal State Auto as a “mapper,” Trip Tic Selector for 8 years.

We lived a beautiful 34 years in San Francisco, California, and then moved to the beautiful “Tri-Cities,” Washington, September 26^th, 2014.

Joe has made the “Tri-Cities,” Washington his home for almost 5 years, loving every minute of it. This place gave him freedom to move and expand without hardship.

Joe was preceded in death by his father David Ayoub and his mother Martha Alaraj Ayoub.

I would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Kadlec Hospital for their tireless efforts and incredible care provided to Joe.

A very special thank you to all his therapists, P.T, O.T, Speech Therapy at TriCities Home Health, and Kadlec out Patient Therapy.

Big hugs and special love and kisses to all his caregivers, who loved him and treated him like one of their own family members. The help I received from them was indispensable and I will never forget the love you showed me as well.  Joe used to sing me this song.
