Sivilay Nammathao (née Kommavongsa), 59, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, December 26th, 2019 in Pasco, Washington.

Ms. Nammathao was born on September 1, 1960 to Khene Kommavongsa and Mone Kommavongsa (née Thepvongsa) in Vientiane, Laos. She was the second oldest with two sisters and one brother. She fled Laos during the Vietnam War and then lived in the refugee camp in Thailand. She also lived in Spain, France, and California before settling in Washington State.

She worked many years for Conagra Foods/Lamb Weston as an agricultural laborer. She is survived by her son, Issara Nammathao, daughters Napha Nammathao and Pavyna Soratsavong, her granddaughter Jazlyn Nammathao, her sisters, Khanthaly Xayachack and Darasavanh Kommavongsa, and her brother Amphaivanh Kommavongsa. Not to mention many nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and -nephews.

There will be a viewing on Friday January 3rd from 5-8 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 4th at 1 pm. Einan’s at Sunset 915 By Pass Hwy, Richland, WA 99352.
