Barry Douglas Bolstad, 68, passed away peacefully at home. He was born in Yakima, WA on August 23, 1951.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Bolstad; son, Ryan Lee Bolstad; daughter-in-law, Kelly Bolstad and is granddaughter, Natalie Bolstad, who live in Richland and Kennewick, WA. Barry is also survived by his brothers: Ron Bolstad and Gene Bolstad along with is sister, Marianne Hursh, all live in the state of Washington.
Barry is a retired Richland, WA police officer. He enjoyed snowmobiling in the Blues and enjoyed quad running at the Oregon Coast.
He was a good friend and teacher for a young man just starting out
I remember Barry growing up. He always made me laugh. I enjoyed helping them out in the summers babysitting Ryan. My dad really liked working with him. My prayers are with you Susan, Ryan and Kelly and your daughter as you navigate through this very hard time.
Love you guys he will be missed
