From Sunnyside, WA | Born in Richland, WA

Kevin Casseday

On April 4th, 2020 my Sweetie passed away at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, WA of a massive heart attack. In such uncertain times as these with Covid-19 I was unable to ride in the ambulance with him to Sunnyside Hospital. I was not able to stand by his side as I always did during his hospital visits over the years. I didn’t get to hear his last words before going into the Cath Lab where he went into cardiac arrest for 5 minutes. Rushing down to Richland to say our last goodbyes we held him as his heartbeat faded.

I just want the world to know how much this man will be missed!! Master at Fishing.IQ of 143, Outlaw & Lover; my Sweetie is now at the Ultimate Fishing spot reminiscing about all those Pat McMannis stories he enjoyed so much and his Rockstar hair blowing in the wind.

From Anchorage, AK to the continent of Africa my Sweetie traveled the world & left an impression at every destination.

Memorial Services TBA after this Pandemic is over.

Kevin leaves behind his father, Terry J Casseday, wife Lisa Ann Casseday of Sunnyside; his Best friends & brothers Steve Cordova of Colorado, Randy Stubbings of Zillah and Dan Springs of Yakima. He also leaves behind his beautiful daughters Ashley McAlpine of Granger & her 3 children; a female version of her daddy, Megan Herdandez of Sunnyside, son-in-law Carlos & their 2 beautiful daughters and his 2 sons Jarrod Cooper of Las Vegas & Kevin Casseday Jr. of Sunnyside.

So in honor of this great man…Catch the big 1 Sweetie….FISH ON!

  • My heart is heavy for this man’s passing. Even though I only knew him for a very short time. I know he was greatly loved. He was a great father in law to my son Carlos and a great and loving papa to my granddaughters. It hurts to know that they will grow up without him. But we will do our best to remind they what a great papa he was. His wife and children will greatly miss him. RIP
