Friday, June 12, 2020, Doris Nordman Gibson passed away peacefully at home. She was 91. Doris was born July 27th, 1928 in Fairy, OK. Her family traveled out of the dust bowl and settled in Richland. She was an RHS grad and proud of it.

She later married Carl “Gibby” Gibson. They had 2 daughters, Teri Gibson and Connie Amodeo.
Doris was proud of her work at Battelle Northwest’s computer department until her retirement. She loved to bowl, jitterbug, and visit with friends. She had a great sense of humor and ready smile.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Carl Gibson, brother Bill Nordman, sisters Marge DeGooyer, and Fran Trudell.

She is survived by her daughters Teri Gibson and Connie Amodeo, Son-in-law Benjamin Amodeo, granddaughter Regina Amodeo and Michael Weaver, great-grandson Theo Amodeo, grandson Andrew Amodeo and Katie Amodeo, Sister Joyce Hart and Patricia Geffe (Pete). Numerous other nieces and nephews.

No service will be held.

Doris loved Grace Blas-Matus, Anna Miguel Blas-Matus, and all staff. Mom and us felt so blessed to have them bring such care and kindness. Also a heartfelt thank you to hospice for their support.
