Nancy Jean Park
Nancy Jean Park, age 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13th, 2020, at home with family by her side. She was born February 2, 1957 to David and Dorothy (Dottie) Park. In addition to groundhogs, she had a deep love for all animals. Represented in her many years of jumping, trail and pleasure horseback riding as a teenager and ferret breeding during her adult years. Nancy had an old soul and an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and whole-hearted way. She is survived by her daughter, Whitney, and son, Nathan; along with her loving grandchildren Elena, Emilia and Ryder. A private viewing will be held for close friends and family at Einan’s at Sunset to grieve, reminisce and most importantly celebrate her life. She will be missed.
Nancy your presence was known here with those of us at Hanford. I had the pleasure to eat chocolate all day with you at aces many a day. Laughing at our old days.
Such a great friend I got to meet.
You will be missed Nancy
Worked with Nancy. She was always so thoughtful and helpful at the ACES station. Rest In Peace Nancy. You will remembered as a helpful sweet lady.
Nancy and I were “ferret friends” for many, many years. Although I live in Florida, I was raised in Tacoma so we had Washington State in common. We attended many ferret shows together on both sides of the country and shared many, many memories and the ancestry of many of our ferrets together. She was loved by many people in both the ferret community and the horse community. She was a breeder Par Excellence and the number of blue ribbons and Best in Shows was innumerable. Condolences to her family………she left us way too early. I’ll always remember you, Nancy, and the fun we had together over the years.
I enjoyed our many talks. Gone way too soon.
