Roy Balderas – 6/4/76 – 10/9/20

Long time Kennewick resident, Roy Balderas quietly passed away on October 9, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born in Tremonton, Utah on June 4, 1976. Roy married the love of his life, Claudia and became the proud father of three beautiful children, Mario, Angel, and Alexiena.

Roy was one of the hardest workers anyone could have known. He was always the first to volunteer to help others. Along with helping to raise his family, he coached Grid Kids football, and started his own business, working diligently to even achieve GSA clearance. He was the Vice President of the Just for Looks Car Club and won awards for his work on the Parade of Homes as well as volunteering many hours to help build for Habitat for Humanity.

Through it all he had a great love for low rider cars, camping, fishing, and playing sports. Above all else, he loved watching and sharing in his children’s achievements. His proudest moments include watching his children graduate, as well as coaching them in soccer, football and basketball.

Roy will be greatly missed by many. In his own words “No one fights alone”
