Isaac David Jo

Isaac loved living.

Although he described himself on social media as “Jack of all engineering, master of none”, it’s clear that he mastered more in 29 years than most do in 70, creating both for enjoyment and to improve his own quality of life, in addition to always being pants-wettingly hilarious, frighteningly clever, bluntly sarcastic, relentlessly energetic, and a generous and faithful son, brother, and friend.

Isaac constantly invented, with products cooling on his 3D printers up to the day he died, his lungs finally giving into DMD and freeing him to join his father. His projects will be continued on by his siblings and mom.

Memorial services will be Jan 17th 2:30 pm to 3:30 at Events at Sunset.

  • I had the pleasure of working with Isaac for a short time. I loved his dry sense of humor! He was a brilliant web developer and engineer. He will be greatly missed.

  • We have sweet memories of spending time with Isaac and his precious family when we lived in WA. Isaac grew to be a gifted young man fulfilling God’s purposes for his life. May the Lord’s comfort and peace be with each of you that he left behind. 1Thessalonians 4:13-14.

  • So many memories of a larger than life presence. Isaac’s humility and sense of humor. His considered opinions, his design work, his (mostly) gracious spirit with lesser mortals (us.) That we never heard him complain or ask for concessions based on his MDD. Isaac just got to work solving his design problems. Isaac, we will miss talking politics with you. We are forever changed for having had the privilege of sharing these “interesting times” with you. See you later, Friend!

  • Isaac, the life you lived has touched the hearts and lives of all who have been blessed to know you. I will always treasure memories of a faithful and loving father and mother caring for and enjoying your humor. I remember the first time I hugged you, you blushed😉 Having a handicapped sister I was drawn to watching you grow and loved when we were able to converse. Go rest high on that mountain dear Isaac! Darci and family we love you and pray for our Lord’s comfort and peace to be upon you.

  • I will miss Isaac and his hilariously dark humor. He was inventive and amazing at finding himself(and those who consent to surrounding themselves with his mischief) in amusing projects that were so frustrating. I adore his family, darci is such a kind loving human. I am forever grateful for the time I got to spend with him and his family

  • We are so grieved for this loss, but certainly not for Isaac. We are the ones who are blessed to have known (for even a small time) this amazing young man. Our family is honored that he considered Emily a good friend. Sending our sympathies and praying for your comfort as you that were closest feel the loss of his spirit and presence in this life and carry the grief most intensely. – The Colls
