Shari D. Soderquist
In Loving Memory of Shari D. Soderquist: Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend.
Shari was born on July 22, 1961 to Beverly and Tommy Thompson. She was third of four children. Shari attended elementary school and middle school in California, and the family moved to Richland when Shari was in the 10th grade. She graduated from Columbia (now Richland) high school in 1979.
Shari worked at the Handford area for a few years, then at Albertsons Courtesy Booth, and later became certified as a Pharmacy Tech, working as a tech for a few years. She then got a job as a Para Educator for the Richland School District and loved working with children. Shari left the school district a few years later and did crafts at home.
She loved camping, especially at the Oregon Coast. She had tons of fun with her cousin Nancy at the Oregon Country Fair. Shari loved making greeting cards and was a member of the group “Pretty Little Stampers”. She would sit for hours making cards with her friends.
Shari is survived by her mother, Beverly Thompson; sister, Debby; brothers, Paul (and Sara), and Greg; husband, Dana; and sons, Doug, Kyle, and James “Mort”; and her grandchildren, Regan, Aurora, and Imogene.

We may have met in our teens, but it instantly felt like we had known each other forever! I cherish every minute we spent together. You were there for the good, bad, and ugly, and I think I was there for yours. Some of my greatest memories is me visiting you and using your car while you were in school! You had to suffer the aftermath, but what a story it made. Your visits to Las Vegas, Oregon Country Fair, Long Beach when you were sick, I could go on and on, but I will NEVER forget one minute!
I love you my cousin, best Friend Shari – you are so missed already!
I know I’ve missed so much that I could share, but always know you are loved, missed, and forever honored.

I am so thankful for the time we shared crafting, flower shopping and just visiting. You my friend are a wonderful person and friend. I will miss you very much. I went to the Ocean after your passing and said a prayer and sent you lots of hugs.
Shari, I have so many fond memories with you, Dana, and the boys growing up. You will be deeply missed.
Dana and family: we are so sorry for your loss. We hope that wonderful memories keep her in your hearts forever.
I am so very sorry for Shari’s passing. She was a lovely woman who loved her family dearly. May she rest in peace and the world has been made better by the love and kindness she gave. Sorry for tour loss Dana and family. I enjoyed working with Shari at Albertson’s. She was so bubbly and nice to everyone and always was helpful to all. R.I.P. Shari.

So very sorry Dana. I am a little in shock about her passing. I looked forward to seeing her at the Cancer center. I missed seeing her over the past 4 or 5 months. We have alot of good history with each other and our kids. May God comfort you and the family. She is no longer in pain and alive and well on the other side. God bless you all.
Prayers of comfort for your family, Shari. I’m sure you’re at peace, resting from the hard fight you had with cancer. May your family keep the wonderful memories and in that, keep you by their sides. We’ll see you on the other side.

Oh Dana, I’m so sorry to read this! Shari had such a great spirit. She always made me laugh. I know she will be missed tremendously. Prayers to you, the boys and her beautiful granddaughters.

i will always remember the good times we had living across the street when the kids were little the block party seeing you with your motorcycle and all those beautiful dolls you had and you always sent me a Christmas card I appreciated that rip shari you will be missed thoughts and prayers for you and your family
