Susan Kay (Livezey) Martin

Born to Leonard and Ruth Livezey on February 10, 1950 in New Hampton, Iowa.  The family relocated to a farm outside of Eltopia, Washington in 1956 where she attended Connell High School.  She spent a lot of her younger years caring for her horses, including her parade horse Midnight.

Sue met the love of her life, Clarence “Boots” Martin, in 1985 and on October 26, 2002 they married and blended their two families which include Sally McKenzie, Andrea & Edwin Nunez, Becky & Nate Grohs, and Shari Perry.

She has resided in the Tri-City area for most of her life and worked as a bookkeeper in the legal, agricultural, and wine industries.  She loved to cook for her family and hosted many parties and BBQs.  She was an avid Seahawks fan.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, boating, crosswords, horses, unicorns and was great at accessorizing.  She was a woman of many talents.  Throughout her days she could operate a frontend loader, drive an 18-wheeler, and turn around and bake a soufflé.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, family and friends, which include her four siblings Jeane & Charles Moseley, Dan Livezey, Ed & Karen Livezey, and Debbie & Craig Kulfan, eight grandkids, 2.9 great grandkids, and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard & Ruth Livezey and nephew Sean McCarthy.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 15th at the Martin Residence.  You are welcome to join us  anytime between 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to Unicorn Overpopulation or ChaplaincyHealthCare.org.
