Feb. 24, 1944-June 22, 2021 (77 years)
Born Elizabeth Ellen Norris in Burkittsville, MD to Parents Charles and Marie (Gladhill) Norris, Elizabeth became Mrs. Raymond Eugene Marshall in 1967. In 1966 Libby graduated from Frederick Memorial School of Nursing. Libby worked as a nurse at several hospitals, the longest being Sacred Heart Medical Center located in Spokane, WA. Libby retired from Sacred Heart Medical Center after working there for more than 40 years. A dedicated and life-long caregiver, Libby loved her patients and loved her children.
Libby loved to garden, cook and take her three daughters shopping. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Raymond Eugene Marshall and her daughters Mary Ellen Ellwein and Tammy Marshall DelVechio; granddaughters: Abigail Reese Ellwein, Emily Jean Ellwein and Olivia Alizabeth DelVechio. Sadly, her daughter Nancy Ellen died on June 13, 2021, while she was already undergoing Hospice Care.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted at Chaplaincy Health Care located on 1480 Fowler St., Richland, WA
A service will be held at the Edgemere Seventh Day Adventist Church at 5161 Vay Rd. Priest River, ID on July 24 at 2 pm. She will have a joint memorial service with her daughter Nancy who passed away on June 13, 2021.
