Eva Annette Weaver (Annette) passed away on August 16 2021, and was lovingly welcomed into eternity by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Annette was born on September 20, 1940 to Fred Varnes and Nella Dephine Fell in Birmingham, Alabama.  Three children were born to this union, Annette being the middle child to two other siblings. The oldest sibling, Robert Varnes, lives in Victoria, Texas. Annette’s younger sister, Lynda Cantrell, lives in Richland, Washington. Annette has a half- brother, Steve Varnes, who lives in Alabama.

Annette was married to Bill Waldren in New Orleans. To this marriage was born one child, a son, William Scott Waldron, who proceeded Annette in death.

She was later married a second time to Jack Weaver, also from New Orleans. To this marriage was born one child, a daughter, Nancy Katharine Mahar (Luis).

Annette had four grandchildren, Christian Van Horne, married to Kirsha; Mariah Hardy, married to Daniel; Kimberly Van Horne, engaged to Mason Hageman; and Lexi Olney, married to Jamie.

Annette recently became a proud great-grandmother to Lily Annette Van Horne (Christian and Kirsha), and was elated to meet her before she passed. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Annette’s childhood, adolescent, and early adulthood years were spent in Alabama and Louisiana.  She moved the Tri-Cities in 1981 where she worked as a painter and construction worker. A few years later, at the encouragement of several friends, Annette entered the profession of real estate sales. She was an agent with Progressive Sales Real Estate for over 30 years.  She consistently achieved Top Salesperson of the Year and had passed her licensing exam to become a managing broker.

Annette will be fondly remembered by all who encountered her delightful, caring personality. She had a vivacious sense of humor, always ready to tell a joke or sing a funny song. She taught herself to play the piano and was extremely good. Her love of music extended to singing. She regularly shared her beautiful voice by singing worship songs in church or by having fun singing Karaoke with family and friends.

Highlights of Annette’s travels include vacationing in Hawaii with her grandchildren and going to Israel with her church group.

Annette had a huge, open heart. She consistently laid her life aside to serve others, especially the elderly. This servanthood lifestyle began when she was young and continued throughout her life. Her faith was a focal point of her life and her community. Her memorial service will be held at Temple Baptist Church in Richland, WA on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 at 3:30 pm.
