Susanne Marie Cantrell
Susanne “Sue” Cantrell, age 71, passed away on September 23, 2021, in Richland, Washington from ongoing health complications. Sue was born in 1949 to Vernon and Sylvia Thomas in Yakima, Washington. Sue was married to Steven “Steve” Cantrell from 1968 until his death in 2004. Together they raised three children.
She is survived by her father Vernon Thomas, siblings Karen McDannel, Dianne Johnson, John Thomas, Rick Thomas, David Thomas, Bob Thomas, Royce Thomas, son Christopher Cantrell, daughter Jessica Gollinger, grandchildren, and numerous extended family. Sue is preceded in death by mother Sylvia Thomas, husband Steven Cantrell, and her daughter Kerri Denniston.
Sue was very involved in her church and could often be found at her sewing machine working on her latest project. She will be missed by many, may she rest in peace.
A graveside service will be held for Sue on Monday October 4th at 11:30 AM at Einan’s at Sunset Garden – 915 Bypass Highway, Richland, Washington 99352 https://www.
A celebration of life will be held for Sue on Saturday October 9 at 2pm at the Bethel Baptist Church – 600 Shockley Rd, Richland, WA 99352 https://www.bethel.ch/
