Dan Gray passed away on December 1, 2021, three days before his 94th birthday.  Born in 1927, he grew up during the Great Depression, the 4th of 5 children.  Although times were rough, he was blessed with a wonderful family and had many good memories of his childhood.  Dad was a WWII Army vet stationed in Japan during the Occupation.  Dad loved helping others, had a wild and wacky imagination and took great delight in living.  He gave his family our own very special memories.

Dad was predeceased in death by my mom, Jean, and by his second wife, Vera, as well as his sons Tom and Danny.  He is survived by his daughter Katy Storm (Mike) and his daughter-in-law Chris Gray Checky (Mike) as well as grandchildren Sara Dowey (Sean), Michael Gray (Jocelyne), Seth Gray, Sean Storm (Danielle) and Matthew Storm (Amanda).  He was blessed with great grandchildren Andrew, Samantha, Sawyer and Jaxson.

Dad’s long-time next-door neighbors Jim and Mona Alzheimer were like family and a Godsend during Dad’s last few years.  Their help and care allowed Dad to remain in his own home much longer than would have otherwise been possible.

Dad’s memorial service will be held June 11, 2022, at 1:00 at the Richland Baptist Church on George Washington Way in Richland, Washington.
