Librada Montebon Richardson

Librada Montebon Richardson was born on February 2, 1953 in the Philippines. She passed away at the age of 68 in Richland Washington on December 21, 2021. She had been living in the Wenatchee area for the last 35 years.

Librada was born and raised in the Philipines. She was very intelligent and always at the top of her class in school. She was classy, adventurous, and fearless. Her proudest family moments included bringing her children to America and making sacrifices for her children and family. She was passionate about helping people in need, even strangers.

Her favorite quote was one of Maya Angelou, “ I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel”.

Librada is survived by her children Narcili Berry, Carmen Montebon, and Carlo Montebon, three sisters, two brothers, five grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and four brothers.

Private services were held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on December 29, 2021.

  • She’s one of the twelve children. She was the 11th child. There are three sisters (Luz, Carmen, and Sol) and two brothers that are still alive (Elpidio JR, and Pete). I didn’t understand that last sentence and just wanted to be clear on that.

    Looking forward to God’s promise at Revelation 21:4-5.
