Rosalie Campbell

Rosalie Ima Campbell (Beutelschies) born in Bokoshe, Oklahoma on September 6th 1926. Rosalie lived in Richland for most of her life. Rosalie was a long time member – 63 years – of Christ the King Catholic Church in Richland.

Prior to moving to Richland, Rosalie moved with her parents to McLaughlin Heights in Vancouver Washington, where she attended high school until her graduation. Rosalie went on to go to college at a Division 1 school in Vancouver, Washington.

While attending college, Rosalie would travel from Vancouver to Richland looking for work. While doing so, Rosalie met the love of her life, John C. Campbell. They married on June 3, 1950. After they were married, they lived in a one bedroom prefab on Abbott Street in Richland. They lived there for a while before moving to a 1 bedroom prefab on Adams Street in Richland. As their family grew, they purchased a 3 bedroom precut on Sanford Street, where they lived and raised their family for 60 years.

Rosalie is survived by her children – daughters Susan Morgan, Julia Brite, Rosmaire Minderman (Vern), and Pam Higbee (Mark), and sons John C. Campbell Jr., and David Campbell (Diana), along with 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Rosalie is preceded in death by her husband John C. Campbell Sr., her parents John Henry and Elizabeth Agnes Beutelschies, brothers Verlin Jean Beutelschies, and Larry Paul Bautelschies, along with her son Joseph Edward Campbell.

There will be a public viewing at Einan’s Funeral Home on February 24, 2022 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. On Friday February 25th there will be a Catholic Funeral Service at Einan’s Funeral Home Chapel. The Graveside Service will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
