So sorry for your loss. Praying for God’s solace for the family. Emma never failed to visit my mom, her Aunt Mary, during her visits to Kentwood. Those visits were always special. We will miss you Emma.
Aunt Emma,
You will truly be missed very much… This beautiful woman always found away to annoy you with her wise educated words that exercised your level of knowledge. As a child I loved seeing her abundant beauty but I never liked to be schooled when I wasn’t at any type of school function. As time grew I found myself wanted to talk to her more as an adult. She had her own lane she wasn’t trying to be someone else she was her and everywhere she went she was loved and admired. I’m happy we got to laugh and speck all the way until her last days. Our conversations would be filled with gratitude and on family chatter, she just wanted her family to visit her more. Moral of the story never allow life problems to get in the way of staying connected to your loved ones.
Love to all
I will miss you my friend. I will miss our long 2-hour conversations whenever we called each other. You were more than a classmate, you were a long-time friend. We were friends since the 1st grade. When we graduated from high school, we were roommates throughout college. I will always remember the fun times we had, as well as the days when we only had pork-n-beans to eat. However, we always looked out for each other, because that just the kind person you were. I pray for strength for the family, and I extend my deepest sympathy.
We always ended our conversations with, “I Love You.” I know you are with the Most High! I will see you again. So one more time I will conclude with, ” I Love You my friend!”
The Robertson family send their deepest sympathy and condolences to the Family. 🙏🙏🙏
Gone but will never be forgotten. R.I.H Aunt Tee

Praying for the family.Tamara and Jarrick your mother will truly be missed.
Takara and Jarrick, your mom was not just my first cousin, but we were classmates. The memories of our days were spent visiting each other walking each other back home, and then turning around and walking the other back home. We played high school basketball together, your mom was a good player. As we went our own way after college she always came home, and we had a great time reconnecting. Talking about the Lord and what she had been doing since the last time we communicated. I remember the one time she was here, and I was having air conditioner problems, Emma got up in that closet where the unit was housed and took her time and fixed it, I have not had that problem since. That was over 20 years ago and when I look at the patch, she put on it, I can’t help but remember her. Yes, my cousin was quite a talented woman, and as we all know was set in her ways. The family of her late aunt, my mother Mary Holloway Hookfin sends our heartfelt sorrow to you.

Emma is my Mom’s 1st cousin and classmate, so throughout my life, I have wonderful memories her. My most recent and lasting memory will be cruising with her and her fellow classmates. It was a wonderful experience for me to spend that time with them as their valet or commonly known as their “fetch it” girl.
We will forever Love you 💐💐 Fate/Marguerite Irving
Sorry for your loss. Praying God will comfort you at this time of your loss.
