Celebration of Life
Allison (Ali) Marie Flora
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Allison (Ali) Marie Flora, age 33 our most beloved daughter, sister, family member and friend passed suddenly on May 23, 2022 with her family by her side.
Ali graduated from Kamiakin High School in 2004 and also participated in the Running Start Program at Columbia Basin College. She had a variety of jobs but the one she enjoyed the most was working for Battelle as a project administer for the Nuclear Engineering and Analysis group. She loved her work family and valued their friendship.
Those who knew Ali, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
When you think of Ali, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
She was funny, outgoing and spirited, but she was also introverted and introspective. She was a wonderful writer and the Tri City Herald asked her to submit one of her writings for publication in their junior editor column in the newspaper which she did.
From an early age she dreamed of having a horse which became her passion. She was an avid barrel racer and equestrian. She did qualify to go to State which was a huge accomplishment for her.
Ali was preceded in death by her father, Richard Flora and aunt, Carolyn Hoey. She is survived by her mother, Gail Flora, sister, Amanda Jenne, (Jereme), children Ashton, Reilen, Braydon, Savannah, Brother Mark Flora, (Mindie), daughter, Dakota Flora. Her love for her fur babies, Bristol, Liberty and Smudge were also very dear to her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Einan’s Event Center on August 5, 2022 at 1:00.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Benton Franklin Humane Society.
thoughts and prayers
Orton Family Arizona
Missing you, good friend. I hope that we are able to see each other some day in the future.
We never had the privilege of meeting Ali, but I wish we had. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark and Mindie as well as the rest of her family and friends. We know her memory will live forever in the hearts of those who loved her. 💞
Ali was a great friend. She was non-judgmental and always supportive. She was that person you could turn to or in other words “a safe place to fall”. Those are the words I would use to describe her. She was there for you on an emotional level. Thank you for being YOU and I am grateful to have known you and privileged to be your aunt.
Gail,
Penny and I remember how much your family meant to you and are so sorry for your loss.
