Michelle Cunningham
Michelle Cunningham passed away peacefully at her home in Richland, WA on May 31, 2022. She was born in Spokane, Washington and lived an eventful life.
She met and married the love of her life Russell Cunningham, on December 31, 1981. They spent 10 years in Alaska and loved to snowmobile and pan for gold. They also lived in Southern California, Prosser and she spent over 30 years in the Tri-Cities. She simply enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors.
Michelle worked for Benton County Courthouse, GESA, and Ben Franklin Transit, the job she loved the most. She had a special passion for gift making- custom painted rocks, bird houses, quilts, hats, socks, scarves, and many other handmade items. She loved trips to the casino and playing cards with the family and friends. She especially treasured time with family.
Michelle is survived by her mother Charlene DeBoise, sisters Rose Zanders, Cheryl DeBoise, and step-children Kerry Padgett, Lori Vega, Louie Vega and grandson Patrick Padgett along with numerous other grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Michelle is preceded in death by her son, Lucas William Cunningham, daughter, Kasandra Renee Cunningham, husband, Russell Earl Cunningham, father, William Deane DeBoise and sister, Deborah Kay Lowry.
Michelle’s daughter, Kasi, committed suicide at age 15, so please consider a donation in Michelle’s honor to Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program at 303-429-3530 or www.yellowribbon.org.
