Anna Marie Lotto

In loving memory of Anna Marie Lotto

Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Wife, Mom, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother
Anna Marie Lotto was born to Joe and Anna Laura Carrato in Everett, Washington on March 13, 1941. She moved with her family to Maltby, Washington and lived there throughout her early childhood with her goat Mary and her great big Italian family. Then onto Renton, Washington following the Northern Pacific Railway with her father and mother.
Anna attended Saint Anthony Catholic school and Renton High School graduating from high school in 1959. She married at the age of 20, June 10, 1961, to the love of her life John F. Lotto. Moving to Bellingham she helped John finish school and worked at a bank. Anna was married to John for 61 years before going to meet with her family members in heaven on July 27, 2022.
Anna leaves her legacy with three children, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren (soon to be more), and 33 grand-pets. Many people referred to Anna as their Anyee. A name given to her by her grandchildren. Anyee’s grandchildren like to remember Anyee as someone who planted flowers of love, wisdom, and faith throughout her life to the people around her. Anna requested that she is remembered by the following:
“I wished to love my God and fellow man with my whole heart and soul and strength. I am truly sorry for any hurt or pain I have caused anyone in my lifetime, either through word, action, or omission.”
Some of her greatest accomplishments were achieved during her 27 year career at Rainier State School as a Pastoral of Care Associate. She loved the clients and staff and was loved by her peers, family, and friends.
Since relocating to Tri Cities, Anna loved sharing her time with her many “Geezer” family and friends doing lunches and dinners. Anna could be found in the stands of her son’s bull pen, grandkids baseball/soccer games, Tri City American Hockey games, or watching the Seahawks from home.
Everyone who has ever met Anna Lotto always felt loved, heard, and touched by an angel on earth.

  • I was Anna’s nurse at her doctors office, and she took ahold of a special place in my heart. She could make anyone feel so special and loved. I left her doctors office to pursue a new opportunity and stayed in contact. She always knew just what to say when I needed it. I love Anna and believe she is truly an angel who walked on earth. Sending so much love and prayers to John & the rest of the family.

  • Dearest Anna,
While my mother, Francesca, and your Dad were brother and sister, we lived on opposite sides of the country and only met a very few times. Even so…there was a sweet, loving connection and I loved keeping in touch with you. I was blessed to have been able to do so. My heart aches at your absence from this world and send John and your entire family my deepest sympathy, and love. May God comfort them now and in the days and months to come.
