Wendy Marron (McKellips), 71, of Burlington, Washington passed away on August 14, 2022.  Wendy was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.

Wendy was one of the kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family is forever blessed to have been loved by her.  Wendy graduated from Palouse High School in Palouse, Washington in 1969.  She attended Washington State University, graduated from Columbia Basin Community College with an Associate Degree in Computer Science and graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a Batchelor of Business of Administration.

When Wendy attended Washington State she met and later married Francis W. Marron.  Together they went on to have two sons, James (“Jayme”) and Brian.  Wendy was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who gave everything she had to her family just like the tree in her favorite children’s book, The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein (“Once there was a tree . . . and she loved a little boy”).  We will never be able to fill the space she leaves behind but are forever grateful for her love.

Wendy was predeceased by her parents, Melvin and Hazel McKellips; her brother, Neil McKellips; her sister, Sharon Horn; and her sister-in-laws, Susan Marron and Jodi McKellips.  She is survived by her sons, James Marron and Brian Marron; her grandchildren, Hannah Gault (Marron), Isaac Marron, Joy Marron and Brian Marron Jr.; her great granddaughter Ivory (“Ivy”) Marron; her nieces, Kathy Wilson (McKellips), Sandy Stark, Eileen McKinnon, Lori Patton and Barbara Zimmerman; and her nephews, William Horn Jr., Christopher Horn, Nick Dagenhart, Patrick Holert, Michael Holert, and Tom Zimmerman.
