Keith R. Cope
Keith Ryan Cope, 41 of Yakima Washington.
Keith was born in Kennewick, WA on June 16, 1981 to parents Randy Cope and Teresa Cope. He was the younger of two sons, joining older brother Evan. Keith went to Richland High School, graduating in 2000. After high school, he spent some time living in Glendale, AZ and White Fish, MT before returning to the area to start a family.
Keith met the mother of his children, Michelle, in late 2007. They welcomed their oldest daughter Karrissa on December 31, 2010, with their youngest daughter Quinn coming soon after on February 10, 2012. The four of them, along with Karrissa and Quinn’s older sister Grace, lived in Richland. Keith worked a variety of jobs, but mostly worked in the construction field.
Keith enjoyed a lot of hobbies. There wasn’t a sport he wouldn’t try. Growing up he loved to play baseball and football, but as he got older he liked more of the outdoor sports, especially snowboarding. He enjoyed being in the mountains and on the water in the summer.
Keith was a strong man with a soft heart. His big smile could brighten a room. Keith loved his friends, but his daughters held his heart the most. They were his reason to smile even on his darkest days.
Keith is preceded in death by his grandmother Barbara Moran, father Randy Cope, uncle Stephen Cope, grandmother Donna Lepper, grandfather Edwin Lepper, and numerous other family and friends that he will see again.
Keith is survived by his daughters Karrissa and Quinn, step daughter Grace, mother Teresa Moran, brother Evan Cope, aunt Tracy and uncle Vern Lepper, cousins Krista and Edwin, aunt JoAnn Shults and son stacy, aunt Karen Chase and sons and grandkids, uncle Duane and aunt Patricia Shults family, and Michelle Champoux and the Champoux family. Thank you for your love and support.
