It is with aching hearts that we announce the passing of our much-loved husband and father, Jerry Brinkley, on October 26, 2022.
Born October 31, 1951 to Harold and Norma (Hunter) Brinkley – Jerry was a proud lifelong Tri-Citian, Pasco Bulldog and retired business owner of HB Painters. He was using his retirement to master his riding lawn mower, various backyard grills and work on his golf putt. He was always quick with a laugh, up for an adventure and ready to fish. He was a life-long lover of music and avid concert goer, sports enthusiast and Seahawks fan. He doted on his animals, and was eager to catch up with friends and family both locally and in Iowa, where he spent many fondly remembered summers as a kid.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Shelley, their dogs Roscoe and Triggers and kitty cat Zoe Anne. He is also survived by his two children: Jason Brinkley, including grandchildren Kaitlin, Alex, Ayden and Taylor, and Jennifer (Brinkley) Rhoads, including husband Mark.
He will be missed by too many to mention each and every day.
Please join us as we celebrate the life of Jerry on November 12, 2022 at 1pm at the Chapel at Einan’s Sunset Garden in Richland. He will be laid to rest immediately following.
I’m so sorry for your loss Shelly. Jerry was such a sweet guy and he will be missed! Love you! Hugs and prayers sent to you and yours.
I will never forget that beautiful smile or your genuine love for your beautiful wife. Such a sweet and gentle man, except when it came to a game of cribbage, dominos or cards. Then that devilish grin was just as wonderful. Until we meet again sweet friend, I will keep the fond memories in my heart.
Cousin Shelley, I’m still in shock that this has happened. That I’m writing you with my deepest condolences. Our hearts are sad and wish you strength and positive vibes as you move forward. Keep the faith and many memories you created together alive! I’m so glad we got to spend time with you guys when you came to Vegas. Keep on keep’n on cousin I’m sure it’s hard but you got this. I love you and our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always
RIP Jerry – Till we meet again

I have so many fond childhood memories with JB as my step dad…. camping trips, bowling alley hoopla, softball tournaments, boating and fishing, motorcycle rides, listening to 8 tracks in his crazy painted van, and many more. I will forever be grateful to him for giving me my lifelong best friend, his daughter Jenn. Rest in peace JB. 💕
So sorry to hear this. You two were meant to be together. God Bless you and the family.
You are in our thoughts and Prayers Shelley. We pray the memories you shared will comfort you. Sending hugs friend. Kelly and Keri Reagan
