  • Couple of my favorite memories of Monte is when we (Iron Pigs) were all in a hot tub having some cold ones and he was the only one who never got out of the tub the whole night to use the bathroom lol.
Unfortunately we all never realized this until the next morning when we looked back over the night before. And thought about it…Hmmm wonder how he held it all night!! 🙂

Another one…we were all on someone’s boat, (Rory’s perhaps or Monte’s I can’t remember) and I had brought my 4 year old daughter with me. On the way home on the boat my daughter felt comfortable enough to fell asleep in his arms as he held her for quite some time. She had never fallen asleep in a stranger’s arms before. At that point I knew he must have been a good man or she would not have felt that comfortable with him.
That picture of my daughter asleep in his arms still plays on my digital picture frame in my living room.

    Rest in Peace Brother.
