  • Sam was the best! Such a light and a blessing to have known. We are not a military family, but my husband loved him as a friend and we both took this loss hard. We have a 3.5 year old and we can not imagine the heartbreak that Cristal is feeling. RIP Sam I wish we we could have supported you. Forever in our hearts đź’•

  • Dear Corrales family,

Sam was a wonderful person and a hard working man that will be dearly missed. I am glad that I had a chance to work with him and laugh with him, and get to know him over the years as a Marine and as the loving family man he was. I am better for having known him.

  • I don’t even know what to say.
Sammy the energy that surrounded you was always so bright. You were always so uplifting and positive in any situation. You were the pinnacle of the USMC highly admired and looked up to. A great admiration for all who got the chance to know you. I feel this short mark up doesn’t do you justice bro. But as I sit here and weep this is all I can muster I love you brother. Til Valhalla may your soul shine bright.

  • Dear Samuel Coralles’s family,

I was incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of Samuel. Your family must be going through a range of emotions right now, from anger to devastation to pride.

While serving with Samuel at Camp Lejeune he was incredibly proud of being a Marine and he spoke highly of his work every day. He made an incredible impact on me and I will miss him so much. He made many strong friendships during his service, and he will be remembered for his kindness and strength.

It’s never easy to lose a loved one, and I offer you all of my sympathy and prayers.

  • I love you brother, I miss you so much already! I will always cherish our brotherhood and memories together. Thank you for always being there when I needed you, and mentoring me throughout our journey. I am sorry that you had to go, but I know you will be waiting for me on the other side with that Sam grin and something to turn wrenches on. P.S. don’t tell anyone about our secret signals we had when playing spades, let them believe we were just that good!
