Twilla Annette Knowles was born August 11th 1940 in Greenbush, MN. The daughter of Olaf and Alfa Frislie. Twilla spent her first 16 years in Minnesota and then moved to Alaska with her family. Fate brought her to Seattle Washington and from there she traveled to Northern California where she met her husband (Bruce), they settled down and started a family. Twilla enjoyed many passions such as family/friend get-togethers, picnicking, taking long drives, sewing and knitting which came quite naturally as did her gardening. Twilla had a strong work ethic, was well organized and found her niche in Administration. She worked as an Administrative assistant for Battelle for many years, she loved her job. Upon her retirement she and Bruce found their dream home in Ferndale, WA. There they enjoyed many years together. After her husband’s passing in 2009, Twilla eventually moved back to Kennewick, WA where she could be closer to family. Twilla was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bruce, and her brother
laverne. She is survived by her Sister, Lotty and her children: James Michael, Susan, Kathy (Don) and Rocky; her grandchildren Simone, Nicole, Dianne, Arielle, Joseph, Kristen, and Brittney. She also had many-many wonderful great grandchildren.

Twilla Annette Knowles left us on April 16th at the age of 82.
