Still feels a little unreal. Been thinking about you and your family daily, and you will be missed forever buddy. I’m incredibly glad our friendship had grown past our high school days. I’ll never forget our memories out on the water fishing, playing high school football, or watching hockey games together. Our daily texts throughout the hockey season will be missed. I know you’ll still be chirping and trolling me from above whenever your Kraken beat my Avs.
Rest Easy Brother.
Time to rest easy buddy. You’ve left your mark on this earth in such a positive way and I will miss you cousin.
We are truly saddened to learn about the death of your son Jacob. It seems so unnatural to have our children pass away young, and before us.
We pray that you will find peace and comfort as you reflect on happy times spent together as a family.
You may find that your grief from forces that you neither expected, nor provoked, can leave you struggling with the sense that life is unjust, erratic, and unpredictable. We too have felt these emotions. Time has softened these discouraging thoughts. We hope it will be the same for you as well.
Until then, it is our hope that you find comfort from friends, family and everyone who loves and cares about you and Jacob.
God speed to Jacob and your family.
Lori and Dave Saueressig
Rest in peace my friend playing Baseball and football together will always be an Amazing memory.
Rest in paradise buddy. Love playing gridkids football with you good young times.
It still hasn’t sank in… I’ll never forget all those years playing football together. I met you on your dads grid kids team. Panthers Gray. The Super Bowl champions. Our teams used to run the table but unfortunately we both landed in Hanfords school district and all that winning went away when we got older. One of my favorite memories was playing Selah, in Selah. We were playing for nothing. Eliminated from the playoffs probably by week 5 but unfortunately you gotta finish out the season getting beat down. It was the 4th Quarter, Selah was running up the score. You weren’t a starter yet being only a sophomore but you got to play that entire quarter. At some point you and I had had enough. We decided to no longer listen to the defensive play calls and just head hunt. Any Selah player who dared cross the middle of the field was met with the crown of one of our helmets to the ear hole of theirs. Play after play we de-cleated adversary after adversary. Ryan king got in on it later. Idk if you know this Bradshaw but we didn’t listen to a word you were saying in the huddle for basically the whole 4th quarter. I was crying laughing so hard. Jacob was DESTROYING opposing upper class man. Brutally. Definitely personal fouls but hey, they should have been running the ball. Poor coaching on their part. Love you buddy and I can’t believe your gone. Always my football little brother.
Truly very sorry for your loss, my condolences to your Family.
