Ronald Leroy Wilson
Ronald Wilson, 80, of Richland, passed away on July 4, 2023 peacefully at home with his family by his side.
Ronald Wilson was born on March 11, 1943 in Kansas City, MO, to Melvin Wilson and Pansy Huard.
Ron moved from Missouri to Richland at the age of 7. He graduated from Columbia High School in 1961. After high school he became a painter and married his high school sweetheart Charlene Goodenow. They were married for 20 years until they divorced. During their marriage they had their daughter Ronda and son Shawn who were his greatest pride. He worked for the Richland School District, then started his own business, and eventually ended up working at the Hanford site until he retired. It was at Hanford that he met his love Vikki Torres, they were together until his death.
Ron had a love for nice cars, fancy shoes and watches. One of his most famous traits was joking with people and making them laugh with his infectious laugh. Most of all he loved his family and they always felt it. He was a great dad, grandpa and friend. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Ron is survived by his daughter Ronda Muller (Eric), son Shawn Wilson (Kathy), grandchildren Mckenzie Wilson, Katelyn Muller, Mitchell Muller, Ronnie Wilson, great grandson Cruz Wilson and his love in life Vikki Torres.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father Melvin Wilson, mother Pansy Huard, brothers Garry Wilson, Dick Wilson and Greg Wilson.
Memorial donations can be made in Ronald’s name to American Cancer Society.
