Local radio personality known professionally as Paul Walker has passed away in Richland WA.
Originally from Seattle, Paul got his start in radio in the late 70s. His career spanned over 20 markets as both a DJ and station manager. His longest stint, however, was here in the the Tri-Cities at OK95.
As part of the team “Walker and Winter” he entertained many listeners with sometimes outrageous comedic stunts.
Paul loved the Tri-Cities and chose to retire here. He is survived by his brother Ken Rybock of Palm Springs CA. Paul was 64.
Paul was a great friend and radio partner in crime. So sad to hear of your passing.
Good guy! Had lots of fun with Mr. Walker! He will be missed!
I worked with Paul as regional promotion manager for SBK records i would often visit him at Ok 95 studios and I always had laughs and great conversations and memories of my times with Paul. I’m sending my best wishes to his family and friends. R.I.P. Paul. 🙌🏾 Frank Higginbotham
Wow this news stopped my day. I owe a lot of Paul for hiring me as a kid at OK 95. What a great voice and love for radio. A quieter man let himself and his talent out and shine from the safety of a studio with an invisible audience. Thanks Paul for teaching me so much.
I worked with Paul at OK95 and we hung out together quite often back in the day. Sorry to hear about his passing.
RIP Paul , you had one hell of a good voice
Although I never worked with Paul, I crossed paths with him throughout the years in the radio business. He was a true pro. R.I.P. Paul
Love you Paul ♥️
May you rest in peace.
