In the words of those who loved him deeply Abel will always be remembered as a man who was determined, ambitious and driven to succeed in life. He was strong and not afraid of anything. He took life by the horns. Abel was a man with a huge heart who adored his children and loved all his grandchildren. You could always count on him to help; he would give his last dollar in a time of need because that’s the type of father and man he was. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He would brighten up a room with his presence. He was known for his good looks and always dressed to impress. But most of all he was kind, loving and caring. We are blessed to call him dad and grandpa. He is the legend, our legend, Abel Orosco Jr.

May he Rest in Peace. I met Abel as Lorenzo’s cousin. He was very close. He would call or visit. He and Lorenzo would spend hours visiting and having a cold beer. I met Layla and their children from infancy. He is remembered by as as crazy Abel the sharp dresser, full of fun and genuine concern for his twin cousins, both Lorenzo and Larry. He came to give us his condolences couple days after Lorenzo’s death. Thank you Abel for being such an awesome cousin and friend.
