Dennis Muir was born in Osburn, Missouri on January 1, 1946. He passed away on September 30, 2023.

Dennis began school in Benton City, WA and soon moved to West Richland where is family built their home. He graduated from Columbia High School in Richland, WA in 1965. After high school, he joined the Navy and after an honorable discharge he became a member of Union Local #598 and worked as a pipefitter until he retired.

His first marriage brought him his two daughters, Danielle and Laura. He married again in 2004 to Darcy. They lived in West Richland, WA.
Dennis enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a gifted mechanic and turned many cars into hot rods. He loved his old Valient station wagon that he equipped with Nitrous Oxide. He also enjoyed building and flying airplanes.

In 2008 he began to develop dementia which eventually ended his years.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Olga and Lyman Muir, and by his younger brother Larry Muir.
Dennis is survived by his wife Darcy, sister Penny, daughters Danielle and Laura, stepdaughter Lynsey, and grandson Grant. Our family has recently learned he also has a son, Emmett.
