  • I had no idea of Touns passing until today. Such a gentle and kind person. We took a trip to go see him in walla walla years ago where he introduced me to peanut butter and onion sandwiches. They weren’t for me lol. My condolences to his 2 sons who I knew Toun loved very much

  • My Brother, my childhood playmate. Thank you for surprising me with pranks, jokes and humor. Thank you for understanding why I continued to call you Brent. That is how I grew to love you. I know things were lonely for you. At least until you met your lovely wife. I wish I could have helped more to make your life easier. Living so far apart, I still felt close to you. It’s difficult to know I can no longer call you and listen to your take on life. I’m grateful you found Allah and he led you to peace. I will miss you and I will Love you Always.

  • Toun brightened ours lives at VRS. He brought a sense of humor to everything. Even when given his cancer diagnosis, he used humor and grace in facing it. Toun was really unlike any other person I have ever known. He was strong and funny and did things, even when we questioned the safety of him doing some things. I will miss him always.
