Gerald Lee Mashburn
Gerald, Jerry, Mashburn, Loving husband, brother, father, uncle, grandfather to four and great grandfather to five and friend to many. Passed away peacefully December 23rd 2023 at the age of 84.
We are all very proud of his four years in the navy as an electrician and for the twenty-two years served in the Army National Guard as a tank commander.
While enlisted he managed the Richland players movie theater and completed __ years with the city of Richland.
He enjoyed spending time with family, camping, fishing, hunting and many hobbies including wood burning, making knives, jewelry and working with leather. And was quite the story teller.
He kept his fun personality to the very end.
He is survived by his wife Janetta Mashburn, daughter Aletta Mashburn, grand children Brian Foster, Brody Barton, Jacob Barton and Rachel Zilch.
Proceeded in death by his son Kevin Mashburn, Parents Royce and Maple Mashburn, sister Patsy Euteneier and brother Benjamin Mashburn.
We ask that instead of flowers please donate to a local charity in his honor.

The family is in our prayers and thoughts daily.
We loved Jerry so much, he was a very special person.
I have a lot of good memories of special times with him.
Love JR and Kathy Mashburn
We have known the Mashburns since we first moved into the house. From their daughter being our children’s delivery nurse, to our children growing up with their grandchildren. Jerry was the kindest soul. He always said hi and held the most interesting conversations. He watched our kids grow up and always held out a helping hand when needed. Although Jerry isn’t here anymore, we will still look for him on the front porch and taking trips to the store with Jacob. But most importantly we will hold out a helping hand for his family when they need it. Thank you Jerry and thank you Janetta for being the most wonderful neighbors.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all..Thank you for being such good neighbors throughout the years. The Huntley Family.
Rest in peace Jerry! You were a great neighbor and friend for many years. I will miss you, my friend.
Knew Jerry from the Theatre days. Very kind and funny. My sincerest sympathy to his family.
Our deepest sympathies for your loss. We enjoyed the times that Jerry got to come to Texas and visit with us. And I will truly miss his phone calls. He was a very kind, sweet and funny person.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family,
Love JR and Kathy
Prayers for comfort in your loss Janetta.
