  • To Dave’s family, as his next-door neighbor, over the years, we’ve become good friends. I appreciated that when Candy entered their family, he made sure she knew me & not to bark at me. I loved her too. I look forward to seeing Dave again. Revelation 21:4, 5

  • You used to practice karate on me. You knock my tooth out with a pillow, it was not the loose tooth. You almost hit a car, I was riding in, head-on. There were times that I wondered if it was safe to be your little sister. But I never regretted it. I love you, I will miss you, you are always in my heart.

You are loved by more than you knew. You will be missed.

  • I remember visiting the Gibson house when my kids were in school with Dave’s daughters. He shared his vast knowledge of animals with my boys.
He loved all of you very much and he will be missed. Please stop by if you need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on – still living across from Christ the King.

  • Rest in peace David.

David was my older brother and was his own man with his own opinions.
I remember fondly the early years we spent at our grandparent’s CA home where we both learned to swim and where we both felt so much love.
In my opinion, marrying Janet was the best decision David ever made. They had a family together and she grounded him in a way no one else could. Through all the good times and rough times that marriages can be, he loved her deeply, and she loved him. They raised three amazing, strong, loving daughters together, who in turn have all married amazing men. That is his legacy.
As siblings will, David and I didn’t always agree, but he was a good brother, I loved him, and I will miss him.
