Patricia “Pat” Mendoza Go, of Richland, WA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 3, 2024 at the age of 77.
Pat was born August 25, 1946 in San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines, and the second eldest of five children. She graduated from St. Paul High School in San Miguel, Bulacan. Pat completed her pre nursing at La Concordia College in Manila, and graduated from May Chiles College with her Bachelors of Nursing Degree (BSN).
Pat met Alfonso S. Go, her lifetime sweetheart. They married on January 17, 1968, and raised six children together in the Philippines. Pat worked as a Special Private Nurse at Chinese General Hospital for many years. She also spent three years in Saudi Arabia working as a BSN.
In September 2003, Pat and her husband Alfonso arrived in the United States. She was hired by Dr. Leonardo Cabanilla for a year and then worked for Dr Nikom Wannarachue for 2 months in Kennewick, WA. After a year, they relocated to Banning, CA to pursue other career opportunities. Pat worked at Banning Healthcare as a Manager until she retired in 2019. She was cherished and loved by her coworkers and loved and adored by her patients. They retired in the Tri-Cities to be near family.
Pat was known to be a loving nurse and mother to all the lives she touched. She was a caring, friendly, honest, and hard-working nurse until she retired at age 70. She loved to crochet for her family and friends. She was a very spiritual person and prayed the rosary every day. She devoted herself to Our Lady of Perpetual Help until her last breath.
Pat is survived by her devoted loving husband Alfonso Go “Amboy”, children Alfonso Go, Jr “Jun” (Evelyn “Beng”), Paulyn Ungerecht “Babylyn” (Chad), Pinky Mejia (Christian “Jojo”), Allan Go (Charina “Chay”), Philline Go, and her grandchildren Samantha, Cedric, James, Jacob, Chloe, Patricia, Jared, and Ashton, and siblings, sister Narcissa “Baby”, brothers Bonifacio “Boy”, and Benedicto “Dick”.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Jovito and Primitiva Mendoza, sister Eufracia “Precy” Santiago, and daughter, Pia Go.
A viewing will be held at Einan’s at Sunset, 915 By Pass Hwy, Richland, WA, 99352 on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Rosary and funeral services will be held at Parish of the Holy Spirit, at 7409 W. Clearwater, Kennewick, WA 99336, April 12, 2024, Rosary at 10:30 am, with funeral services at 11:00 am. A reception will be held at the Parish Community Center (PCC) Hall following the service.

I am blessed to have you as my mother in law and Iya’s amma. You have touched our lives in many motherly loving ways. Thank you for the time spent hearing my stories of your look-alike-son Jun and making special memories with us that will always bring us laughter and leave smile in our hearts. Even though you are no longer with us, your love will linger and will be felt guiding us through our lives. Rest in peace mama, no more pains, we love you, you will always be remembered.
