Scott Lawrence Sanborn
Scott Lawrence Sanborn was 42 years old when he passed peacefully in his sleep
at his Richland, Washington home on April 6, 2024. Scott was born in Portland,
Oregon on the morning of September 9, 1981. Scott is survived by his mother
Debra Sanborn (Peoples) and his father Stephen Sanborn. He is also survived by
his brother Donald Sanborn and sister-in-law Gladys Gomez Sanborn. Scott also
leaves behind his nieces (Annabella, Jacqueline, and Hannah), his nephews (Riley
and Ryder), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his goddaughter (Sarah
Davidson). Plus, a close circle of friends, who considered him to be a member of
their families. He was preceded in his passing, by his grandparents (Norman and
Jacqueline Sanborn and Joyce Peoples). Scott was the gentle giant of his family.
He found his passion and solace in video games and trading collectables. He was
always good for a joke or a movie quote or two, to make you laugh. He was a
confidant of those that needed an ear for advice. Being an avid Star Wars fan made
him strong in the Force, and he always kept a lightsaber within arm’s reach. Scott
will be missed dearly by his family and friends and his presence will be with all of
us until we see him again.

You will always be one of my boys. This world will be a little less sunny without you in it. I know you weren’t my son by blood but you will always be my son by choice. Heaven has gained another angel
I love you man. I miss you. Thank you. You were the realest, most honest friend anyone could hope to be good enough to have. There is a long list of people that don’t deserve things like this and your name is at the top. I will never get the chance to tell you how much our countless conversations meant to me. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner. I can say with 100% certainty that I’m a better man, father, and husband because you were my friend. Until next time brother.

The one some came to for insight and the willingness to let people just know exactly what needed to be said. From the jokes to the straight up no lie statements. You were a brother and friend to many and will never be forgotten. TDP FOR EVER. Love you And miss you
