RIP my friend
Suzanne and Family. Your dad was truly a life long friend. We first met in our local Severn, Md. church as very young Sunday School Students. I recall that your dad’s mom, your grandmom, was our teacher. We attended elementary school and high school together. We both eventually worked for the same government agency, from which we both retired. I will miss our yearly phone calls on our birthdays. They were only two days apart. I still recall when you and Gayle were born. Your dad always mentioned his girls and grandkids when we talked. He was proud of all of you. My sympathies are with all of you.
Dear Suzanne and Family. I have been friends with your dad since he and Marlene relocated to West Richland and he became involved with our local NARFE Chapter 1192. Carl became our Chapter President in 2002-03 timeframe, Carl and I co-Chaired the WSF Convention in Richland in 2006, and he was also our Federation District President for Eastern Washington for a couple of years until his health issues. He was a great friend and I will miss our telephone calls and emails greatly. Jim and I tried to visit him at home when the opportunity happened and he enjoyed visitors and his family was always on his mind. He loved visits from the grandkids and great grands (as he called them). RIP Carl, you put up a great fight!!! Respectfully, your NARFE friend, Johanna and Jim Caylor
