Heidi Larsen
Heidi Kay (Rawlins) Larsen (58) passed away on May 17, 2024. She was born in Sacramento, California on June 8, 1965. She spent her adolescence in Richland, Washington and graduated from ol’ Richland High in 1983 where she was head cheerleader and Homecoming Queen. Heidi married Mark Larsen of Kennewick – her husband of nearly 40 years – and was sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Despite a mortal body that forsook her she was known for her positivity, kindness, and service to others: she was in her third battle with breast cancer in 24 years and was hindered by multiple sclerosis. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vergie (Mathews) Rawlins, with whom she awaited a glorious reunion. She is survived by her father, Claude Rawlins; her siblings, Bruce, Tami, Michael, and Mathew; her husband Mark; and her children, Michael Larsen, Adam Larsen, Tiffany Pierre, and Jonathan Larsen. She is also a beloved grandmother of ten grandchildren (and one on the way) – whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 895 Gage Boulevard, Richland WA on Saturday, May 25th at 11:00 a.m. Viewing to begin at 10 a.m. Interment immediately following at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland.
Heidi was an angel who blessed all our lives with her kindness, grace, smile and example. Our hearts and prayers are with Larsen and Rawlins families.
Heidi was one of the best women we have ever known. Love to the Larsen, Rawlins, and Mathews families.
I am so grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Heidi over the last 23 years. She was my first visiting teaching companion when our family moved to the Tri-Cities.. Heidi was a perfect example of having joy by Living a Christ-Centered Life
She has truly blessed so many peoples lives.
My prayers and thoughts are with her beautiful family .
Rest in eternal peace sweet lady. You were my neighbor for only a short time, but it was long enough to appreciate your sweetness and your wonderful smile.
Heidi..
I will always remember your impish and constant smile. I know you are with your mom and are rejoicing in that. You will always be remembered for the kind, generous person that you were. May God bless your family. I am grateful for the chance to have grown up with you and be blessed by your sweet personality.
