Richland, Washington – Carol Ng (Salina), a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 26th in Richland, joining her husband Russell Ng in the skies above. She was born and raised by the river in Richland, Washington, where she found joy in the simple pleasures of life and the company of loved ones.
Carol was a devoted mother to her son James, whom she cherished deeply. She took great delight in listening to him play guitar and sing, finding immense pride in his musical talents.
Among her siblings, Carol is remembered fondly by her sister Barb and brothers Martin and Chuck, with whom she shared many cherished memories and bonds of family.
Carol had a passion for baton twirling from a young age, showcasing her athleticism and grace. She was also an avid reader, a movie enthusiast, and enjoyed the camaraderie of playing cards with friends. Her infectious laughter brightened every room she entered.
In 1988, Carol married her beloved husband Russ in Seattle, and together they embarked on a journey filled with love and companionship. In 1993, they settled in Richland, where Carol established herself as a dedicated professional.
Carol’s career path was marked by her commitment and hard work. She began as a sales representative for Macy’s, demonstrating her skill in customer service and salesmanship. Later, she served as a secretary for the Richland School District, where her organizational abilities and warm personality endeared her to colleagues and students alike.
Throughout her life, Carol touched the hearts of many with her kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her generosity of spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.
Carol Ng is survived by her devoted son James, cherished siblings Barb, Martin, and Chuck, and numerous friends and relatives who mourn her passing and celebrate her life.
A memorial service to honor Carol’s life will be held at 5 p.m. on July 26th at St. Aloysius Church in Spokane, WA. Friends and family will gather to share memories and support one another during this difficult time.
May Carol Ng rest in peace, knowing she made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
I have so many memories of Carol and the Salina family. You have all been in my thoughts and prayers during this time.
