Richard Barry Sean Ring
Richard “Rick” Ring was born February 17th, 1969, to Mary Jo and Richard “Dick” Ring in Yakima WA. He passed June 1st, 2024, at the age of 55. There were many things that Rick enjoyed throughout his life. Family, friends, music, semi-trucks, a good laugh and causing a little mischief were just a few. While he was younger, he enjoyed playing pee-wee baseball and repairing motors for cars. He was a good student and always had an abundance of friends.
Rick was the youngest of four siblings, Bradley, Wendy and Jana. Although, you’d never guess that based on his size. In his early to mid-years of life Rick spent time raising his son Skyler and stepdaughters Chelcie and Serena. He was a long-haul truck driver, sadly ending when Covid began. Rick enjoyed music of all kinds. He loved playing it, influencing his son to play the drums and guitar, to attending many concerts and singing karaoke with friends and family. Rick was soft spoken and easy going. His presence and smile will be missed greatly by everyone he came in contact with.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Ring.
Rick is survived by: Richard Ring, father. Skyler and Emma Ring, son and daughter-in-law. Isabella, Samuel and Elliot, grandchildren. Chelcie Harrison, stepdaughter. Serena Price, stepdaughter. Bradley Ring, older brother. Wendy and Mike Alamia, older sister and brother-in-law. Jana Ring, older sister. Kelly Hatch, niece. Nick Alamia, nephew. Tyson Curtis, nephew.
Hey Ricky, You made goals and you fulfilled them. Your life had purpose and you knew that. You had some growing pains along the way of achieving your goals, but you kept a positive outlook. You are a forever inspiration. Your physical presence is missed, while your spirit lives on in all who think about you. Please remember us while you sing in Heaven. Love you (your little cousin, “uncle David’s daughter”) Angie
Always a smile and such a sweet soul,,, I remember you laughing at Jana and I when we were teenagers listening to Bill Cosby.
Forever smile little bother..
We were deeply saddened to hear of Ricky’s passing. The loss of a child is overwhelming pain. I am so glad your family are so close. On my many phone visits with Mary Jo before she passed her conversation always mentioned Rick and his long haul truck occupation.
A kind and wonderful man. He is missed!
My sincere condolences to the Ring Family.
I am forever privileged and honored to have had Rick as a friend.
I am thankful for the all the good times we had over the years.
Keep on Trucking Brother.
Wherever you may roam.

So many things in memory of this Great Friend. I have a hand full of Great Friends , with these Friends they all have their own unique attributes. One of Rick’s attribute was to be there for his friend’s and family and love them. I am Grateful to have had a recent conversation with him and in that conversation, I got to say I Loved Him. He truly was a brother, friend and giver. See You at the Greatest Concert Ever! Love You!
