My condolences to the family. Met Steven in early 80’s . True human being. Highly intelligent, treated everyone with respect. Not a phony. Tutored me with my Algebra, after hearing me sniveling about it to someone. Went above and beyond in the work place. I am partial to Canucks. See you on the other side Steven. Cheers
Im so sorry to read of Steve’s passing and that I missed his Celebration of Life! He was a really nice guy and always was smiling – I knew him when I was Married to the ex Gary when Him and Steve worked together at PNNL .and they lived out off of Dallas Road.
Steve was a great friend, great person and wonderful compadre. He always brought joy to a room when he entered. He had an infectious smile.
I first met Steve at work in 1978, but my memories include a myriad of experiences. We hunted and fished, played softball, built sheds, caught pigs and enjoyed life together. The world will miss such a wonderful soul.
I will be fishing off the Alaska coast during the service. Seems a fitting place from which to pay Steve tribute and say goodbye.
Don’t ever discount the wonder of your tears. They can be healing waters and a stream of joy. Sometimes they are the best words the heart can speak.
