William “Bill” Roe IV

William Stanton Roe IV, lovingly known as Bill, passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 55. He was born on April 18, 1969, in Richland, WA, and was and always will be a proud Bomber, playing on the football team and graduating from RHS in 1987.

Bill’s favorite hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing cards, and most of all, playing with his treasured grandkids. He loved a good prank, especially when his nieces and nephews were involved.

Having served in the Navy as an air traffic controller, Bill felt a deep sense of pride for his service to his country. He was a skilled plumber and found fulfillment in his profession.

However, being a dad and grandpa was what truly brought Bill the greatest joy. He cherished his daughters, Britni (and Torre) Jessie (and Jake), Julia, and Brooke, and adored his grandchildren, Liv, Aubree, Emma, Eli, Solomon, Izzy, June, and Brooks. Nancy was the love of his life and family was the center of his world.

Bill’s fun-loving and goofy nature made him a joy to be around. He had a deep love for his country, and his playful spirit brought happiness to those who knew him. He will be remembered for his service, his love for Christ and compassion for all who suffered.

In addition to his children and grandchildren, Bill is survived by his father, William S. Roe III, and his siblings, Richard (and Angel), Vicki (and Randy), and Nathan (and Jocelyn) and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Bonnie K. Roe. His loss will be felt deeply by all who enjoyed and looked forward to his fun and playful nature.

Please join us at 2:30pm on Friday August 2nd at the Richland community center to celebrate Bill. We ask that all in attendance respect the wishes of Bill’s family and daughters by keeping this a dry event.

The graveside burial will be a private, immediate family only event, however if you would like to view the burial, please follow the link above. Burial will take place at 10:00am on Friday, August 2nd.

  • Bill, I will always remember the good times we had in ministry, and I looked forward to doing something with you in the prison ministry. Enjoyed your big personality and the good influence you had on those desperate to escape the bondage of sin. I’m glad you were in my life for a short time, and I look forward to seeing you again. God bless you, my friend. May you rest in peace.

  • My thoughts and prayers are out to this wonderful family. Bill was like an Uncle to me. He was always goofy and made everyone laugh. He taught on my first basketball team and I’ll never forget all the memories shared over the years growing up with him and his kids. I know he’s in heaven watching over all of you. Love to you all
