Charlene Marjory Mehan
Charlene Marjory Mehan, 82, passed away on August 3rd, 2024, at home in Kennewick, WA.
Charlene was born on August 7th, 1941, in Seattle, WA, to Charles Fix and Jean Hopkins. Charlene had eight siblings, Edward Bartlett, Raymond Ziggler, Beverly Parks, Laurine McGrew, Diana Allen, Charlene Lee, Charol Weed and Charie Guzmen.
Charlene married the love of her life Michael Mehan on October 25th, 1980, in Pasco, WA. She had three children, William Carter( Kim Carter), Matthew Carter (Brenda Hoover), Sarah Azeltine (Kurt Azeltine), she had nine grandkids and eleven great grandkids.
Charlene loved Jesus, her Lord and Savior. She attended church regularly. She was generous and had a heart for the unlovable.
Charlene was best known for loving the outdoor life, spending time in the mountains or at the ocean. Most of her traveling was done in the Pacific Northwest. She also loved to garden and spend time making her yard feel like a park.
Later in life Charlene, along with her husband, opened a small business making and selling jewelry
Charlene was a hard worker and worked hard to make a comfortable loving home for her family.
She loved her family fiercely and loved spending time with all her kids, grandkids and family.
Charlene is preceded in death by her father Charles Fix, mother Jean Hopkins, brother Raymond Ziggler, sister Beverly Parks, and brother Edward Bartlet.
The service for Charlene Mehan will be held on September 6th, 2024, at 12:00 at Sunset Gardens Event Center, Richland WA.
Flowers may be sent to: Einans (Event Center) 915 Bypass Hwy, Richland, WA 99352
Lunch will be served following the service.

I’m so sad that I’m not got to meet you Charlene. I hope to see you in the Resurrection on the paradise Earth someday, as acts 24:15 says. I had great conversations with Charlene and felt like I had met her already. May you sleep well Charlene till the resurrection

Dan and I are so sorry for the passing of Charlene your wife and my sister. So happy that we were able to get together at my home in Salt Lake City Utah, Minot North Dakota and your house in Washington. I wish we could have more time together. Rest in Peace and God bless you.

You will surely be miss my heavenly sister in CHRIST,but we will meet again in heaven. We had fun along with Mike playing board games at Ken & Pat’s. You were amazing at making jewelry. I still.have some of the pieces you made. GOD BLESS .

I will truly miss your friendship and all the fun games nights we had together at my house. Being sisters in Christ, I know I will see you again in the near future in heaven. Meantime, rest in peace until we meet again.
Charlene was a wonderful neighbor, watching after me, my children and our house for the last 30 years. She will be dearly missed, but always remembered in our prayers and memories of her.
You will be missed Dearly.

Charlene and I were the youngest and the only two that were raised together by our mother. Our almost 3 hours conversation we had just before her stroke was one I’ll cherish and remember. Love and miss you dear sister. Thank you brother. Mike for the years of happiness you gave my sister. Condolences and love to my niece Sarah and nephews William and Matthew.
My beloved Sister, although you will be greatly missed, but I rejoice knowing you are resting in the presence of our Lord.
