I practiced law with Floyd as an Associate Attorney at his law firm for several years. He was intelligent , honest and a man of integrity. I am glad to have known him as a friend and mentor.
Paul Sheely
I’m reminded that he lost his license to practice.
He created much sorrow in our family for his behavior and practice.
As a former member of Bethlehem, I was acquainted with Floyd and Peggy and considered them special members of the church.
My sympathy and blessings to the family.
I worked as a paralegal for many years, including time worked for the Westland Liebler Ivey firm years ago. Mr. Ivey stood out from others by his friendly demeanor, courteousness, knowledge of the law.. I referred later clients & friends to him for complex questions. He was truly a gentleman lawyer.
I remember Floyd as a very close friend of my older brother, Jerry Horn. The 2 of them paled around together during their high school days and graduated together in 1958. Floyd was an outstanding trumpet player, made the All-District Band several years, and even was honored to sing in the All-State Chorus his Senior year. Floyd’s Senior year was the first in many years Roy played football and Floyd did play that year. Floyd was chosen to attend Boys State his Junior year.
