Now flying with celestial angels is Kimberly Davis, who departed this world on August 29, 2024, in Kennewick, WA, after valiantly confronting a pervasive medical condition. In her passing, she ultimately prevailed by extinguishing that condition and achieving peace. Kimberly was born in Jackson, MS, on October 13, 1971, to loving Jerry Davis and Carolyn Davis, née Garner, and married to her beloved husband, Joseph Iannelli. She relished the natural world, passionate as she was with the flora and fauna of the State of Washington, the United States, and the Old Continent. A talented realist painter, she portrayed her passions through stunningly expressive oil paintings, in which marine creatures and sails boats journey towards bright lights embracing vibrant waterfalls and placid nocturnal seas. Always elevating the needs of others over hers. She naturally endeared herself to acquaintances, friends, her sister Karen, and her nieces Anna, Katie, and Olivia, whom she loved dearly. She has been a devoted mother to Cleo and Contessa, her adored Siamese cat and German shepherd. She also served as a compassioned foster parent to myriad kittens and cats who enjoyed years of happy lives under her care. Her bereft husband misses her infinitely, yet celebrates her wonderful life proudly, for through her devotion, happiness, and love, Kimberly infused her marriage and husband’s life with ineffable joy. Her innate joie de vivre ultimately defined her, during her ephemeral yet precious existence with all of us and now forever in heaven.
