Drew Micheal Oliver

Drew Micheal Oliver, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on September 3rd, 2024, in his hometown of Richland, Washington.

Drew was born on July 28th, 1989, to Marianne & Micheal Oliver, alongside his twin brother, Zachary. Growing up, Drew had a gentle nature and sensitive soul that endeared him to everyone he met. Drew possessed an everlasting curiosity & imagination that led him to explore & immerse himself in an array of interests such as movies, literature, music, and history. Drew’s passion for music was evident from an early age when he received his very first guitar, an electric Stratocaster in red. He was a self-taught guitarist with an innate talent for learning how to play music by ear and throughout the years write his own melodies. His connection to music will be an enduring part of his legacy. Drew’s life was marked by his kindness, his sense of humor, and his love of animals. He had a handsome smile and a heart as big as the sky. Despite his battle, we will forever remember Drew for his spirit and kindness. Our hearts are broken but we have some peace knowing that Drew has been set free.

He is preceded in death by his father, Micheal Oliver, grandmother Darlene, the Bichon Bundle: Arlo, Gracie, Lollie, Declan, and Flynn. As well as a slew of cherished family cats and other family pets.

Drew is survived by his mother, Marianne Oliver, his twin brother Zachary, Sisters Whitney, Meaghan, and Jennie. His nieces and nephews Dylan, Taylor, Jacob, Blue, Denni, John, Nicole, and Luke. Cousins Emily, Matt, Brooke, Marissa, and Katie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Camo Dave Ministry – an organization that helps provide food and emergency services to the Tri-City Homeless Community.

  • I pray that you are at peace Drew. You had a gentle soul, and my mom always enjoyed her visits with you and asked how you were doing. Annabelle has always been wary of people she didn’t know well, but she gravitated to you right away, and I appreciated your gentleness with my aged pup. Those are what I will remember. You have been and will always be greatly missed.
