Steven Daryl Mix
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Daryl Mix, who left us on the evening of September 17, 2024, at his home in West Richland, WA, while doing what he loved most – working on a vehicle. Born on December 19, 1960, in Richland, WA, to Charles “Chuck” and Christine Mix, Steven was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a title he wore with immense pride throughout his life.
Steven worked for many years with Hanford Patrol and lived life with joy and adventure, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, and spending quality time with family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Angelica Mix and Devon Mix, his sister Terri Walsh, his brother Bryan Mix, and his beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, who passed in 2020.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Einan’s Funeral Home to support the family through this difficult time. Steven will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
I was shocked and saddened to hear this news.
Steve was a great friend, one whom I spent much time with. Not only funny and a big goof, Steve was a brother to me. Not through blood but through our faith.
Rest in Peace my friend
I was sad to hear of Steve’s passing. Such a gentle giant!
All those summer’s we spent with our Mix cousins. Good memories. Blessings and prayers of comfort for the family. Love Cousin Kathi

Dad,
I know growing up we had our battles. And I was kind of s shit head, but you always supported me the best you knew how. The last few years you talked about Christ and different passages he has said. One of the last ones you sent was this “For the Wages of Sin is Death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 6:23
You were right with the lord and he knew you were coming home soon, way too soon. Make sure you are eating grandmas fudge, and golfing in the gates of heaven with Grandpa.
So many people love you. I love you.
We got it from here.
Your Daughter,
Booger
Gonna miss stopping and chatting, miss beeping and waving when we drive by. Lived just down the road from him for years. Worked with Steve many years too. Always talking about God’s love no matter what he went through. So much more could say, much love and prayers for the family and friends
Ahh. Gonna miss the cousin Steven I got to know pretty well these past few years. Best bear hugs ever! He ended most messages to me with “God is Good” and I know he’s found his place in Heaven with all the family and friends that have gone before him. RIP dude!
You were a great neighbor, and I miss seeing you each morning. I miss the Sunday phone call! Best wishes to Linda as I know your loss will be felt by her.
Rest In Peace Devil Dog, You will be missed but not forgotten. I will miss our many rounds of golf and saving yourself from yourself on the lazy H.
I will miss Steve a lot I thought about him often. Thought of the motorcycle ride on Highway 12 and how he told me that he took his local friends on the same ride saying how much better it was than Glacier (how proud he was to say he heard it from his Canadian relative). The last time I saw Steve was getting my Pug puppy. Many other memories will miss you Steve. Rest in peace look forward to meeting you again in Heaven.
Sending prayers for your family. So sorry for their loss. Enjoy reuniting with all the Fix’s and Mix’s up there. God bless you Steve🥰💕🙏
Another Fix guarding the gates of Heaven. Rest in peace brother! Semper Fi
Love you brother, I will miss you. Enjoy your rounds of golf with dad. And mom’s cookies! Forever in my heart!
