Angelina Smith
It is with great sadness that the family of Angelina (Gina) Smith announced her passing on October 15, 2024, in Richland, WA. Gina was born in Albuquerque, NM, to John and Leola Kramer. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend. Gina had a sweet soul and was thoughtful of others. Despite her illnesses, she had a positive attitude towards life. When she was not making people laugh and joking around with everyone, she would go on adventures to see the world, watch comedy shows, read fantasy books and spend time with her loved ones and fur babies.
Gina was a very bright and beautiful lady. After graduating from West Mesa High School, she went on to earn a few degrees. She earned an Associate in Accounting in 2001 from TVI, an Associate in Pre Management in 2008 from CNM, and a Bachelor degree in Management Information System from WSU in 2012. She married Paul Smith, the love of her life, on December 30, 2005. The couple raised 2 children, Jenae Gallegos, Elijah Kramer.
Gina’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her children who lit up her day every time they would visit. She loved her two dogs, Milo and Leia and could often be found sneaking them snacks from her breakfast. She enjoyed cute pet videos, trying new restaurants, sampling every dessert she could find, and especially traveling. Her last trip to Victoria was a joy as she visited the Butchart Gardens. There wasn’t a single flower there that she didn’t want a picture of. Gina had such a generous spirit and would always be looking out for gifts for every family member and every occasion. If there wasn’t an occasion on the horizon, she would make up a reason to give because it brought her joy to give to her family. Gina’s love for her late grandmother drew her to helping seniors. She worked at Senior Life Resources in Kennewick and later donated her time to United Way. She would often strike up conversations with any senior she came across. It was a joy to see her bring a smile to their face with her whimsical sense of humor.
She will be lovingly remembered by Paul Smith – husband, Jenae Gallegos – daughter, Elijah Kramer – son, Leola Kramer – mother, John Kramer – father, Judy James – step-mother, Kathy Smith – mother-in-law, Joel Smith – father-in-law, Jeremy Kramer – brother, Amalia Kramer – sister-in-law, Larissa Herbert – sister, Charlie Herbert – brother-in-law, Chris Smith – brother-in-law, Joe Smith – brother-in-law, Carrie Smith – sister-in-law and several other uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The service for Mrs. Angelina Smith will be held on November 2, 2024 at Einan’s Funeral Home in Richland.
